The Capitalists Manifesto
CAPITALISTS OF PAKISTAN UNITE!
A spectre is haunting Pakistan -- the spectre of the working class. All the powers of old Pakistan have entered into an unholy alliance to exorcise this spectre: The Fundamentalist and the Feudal, The Industrialist and the Investors, The Bank Run Media and the Imperialist Agents.
Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as awami by its opponents in power?
Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of the awam, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?
Two things result from this fact:
I. The left is already acknowledged by all Pakistani powers to be itself a power. Its history speaks many words itself.
II. It is high time that the left should openly, in the face of the whole world, publish their views, their aims, their tendencies, and meet this nursery tale of the spectre of the working class with a manifesto of the party itself.
To this end, leftists of various parties have assembled in Lahore and formed a merger and named themselves the Awami Workers Party.
THE CAPITALIST MUST STOP THIS BEFORE THE AWAM OF PAKISTAN CAN TEAR AWAY FROM THEM THEIR DREAMS OF OPPRESSING THE WORKING CLASS!
